Free Live Webinar Tue · 12 May 2026 7:00 PM Irish time Zoom

I spent 30 years in IT before I started asking, "is this it?"

Building a second act is a journey. It didn't start with some perfect plan, I just got started. I'll sit with you on Zoom for 60 minutes and walk you through what I've actually learned over the last 8 years. I'm not the guy who tells you to burn the boats and throw everything away. That's bullshit, and you won't hear it from me.

We're live now, check your email for the Zoom link.

What we'll actually do

Five things I want to talk about.

  • 1

Where the 'is this it?' feeling really comes from.

  • 2

The story I had to drop before anything could change.

  • 3

The six pillars I built without realising I was building them.

  • 4

How I started shifting my own life without blowing it up.

  • 5

One small thing you can do this week to get started.

Sound familiar?

On paper everything's fine. Underneath, something's off.

You wake up flat. There's a low hum of 'is this it?' that won't go away.
You fill the gap with work, scrolling, or a glass of wine. It works, until it doesn't.
You feel guilty for wanting more. Half of you thinks you're being dramatic.
You think any change means burning the whole thing down. So you do nothing.

What you'll get from the hour

An honest hour. That's the promise.

A different lens

A way of looking at where you are right now that isn't 'something's wrong with me'.

What's draining you

The things eating your energy that you've stopped noticing because they're so familiar.

One real next step

Something small you can do this week. Not a life overhaul. A start.

A look at how I work

A feel for how I coach, so you can decide if you'd like to go deeper afterwards.

Who's running this

I've been where you are. Literally.

I'm Gary. I spent 30 years in IT. Good job, decent life, all the boxes ticked. And in my mid-forties I hit my own version of "is this it?". It wasn't a crisis. It was a question I couldn't put down.

I didn't set out to change my life. I just got started, kept going, and one day looked back and went, "Shit, my life has changed." Small things, then bigger ones. It took years. Looking back, I can see the six pillars I was building without even realising it. That's what I'll walk you through.

I'm not the guy who tells you to quit your job, leave your relationship, sell the house and find yourself in Bali. That's bullshit. You don't have to burn the boats to change your life. In 2018 I retrained as a coach. Almost a decade and 4,500+ hours later, I sit with people who are exactly where I was.

From people I've worked with

What people who actually did the work say.

"The course was excellent from start to finish, a clear path through each week, with exercises to complete and things to work on between sessions. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who feels a little lost, who might be facing life changes, or who simply has the curiosity to explore the next bit of your life."
Past participant
"This course was invaluable to me. Gary helped me to trust my own instincts while at the same time interrogating them with curiosity and calm. I feel all at once more open and more grounded in myself. Gary is very skilled at working with people where they are; he creates an environment that is both safe and motivational. I highly recommend this course, whatever level of conceptualisation you have about the future."
